Volunteering at SHARP
We are currently funded by The National Lottery to train 20 volunteers a year. This is via our 6 Week Volunteer training program in Administration.
As a volunteer at SHARP you will gain new skills, work experience, and increasing your confidence and self-esteem. Which will help prepare you for employment.
Volunteer Story
Volunteer A applied for a Six Week Volunteer training program as she had been out of work for over a year and felt that: “This would be an idea opportunity to expand on and learn new skills and to build my confidence again.” During her volunteering Volunteer A applied for an Administrative job and was invited to an interview. We supported her with interview preparations and also provided her with a reference and she was successful at her interview and is now in full time employment.
